ABOUT RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CELL
At Gouthami Institute of Technology and Management for Women, Proddatur Research & Development (R&D) Cell is established in August 2018 to promote research-based teaching-learning there by preparing students for successful careers. The activities of R&D Cell include- Faculty & Students Training and Support Programs, Recognition of Research Production, Encouragement of Faculty Collaboration, Balanced Teaching & Research Responsibilities, Innovative Projects and publish Patents etc. The R&D Cell is committed to technology-driven collaborations and linking the academic research with teaching curriculum. The R&D team consists of one member from each Department.

To become a recognized hub for cutting-edge research and development, addressing critical societal and national needs through innovative solutions developed through research, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
Mission:
The mission is to facilitate the transfer of research findings into practical applications, contributing to societal and economic development, to forge partnerships with industry, government and other organizations to enhance research impact and funding opportunities and promote knowledge transfer.

Action Plan for Achieving Outcomes
Ø Active research groups in all departments and organizing various research promotion activities though research groups
Ø Organization expert sessions on project selection and execution, writing proposals, writing research papers and drafting patent
Ø Lesioning with R&D organization / institute and establish MOU with them
Ø Monitoring and guiding faculty to obtain research grant from various funding agencies viz. AICTE/UGC etc.
Ø Formulate policies for encouragement of R&D culture in the institute
Ø Guidance and support to faculty / students for getting quality publication and patents
