About Department
  • Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2009.
  • It conducts a B.Tech program in ECE and M.Tech program in VLSI and Embedded System Design.
  • The Department has several well -equipped laboratories, namely, Microwave and Optical Communication, Digital Communications, Electronic Computer Aided Design and VLSI, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessors and Microcomputers, IC Applications, Analog Communications, ,Analog Electronic Circuits, , Electronic Circuit Analysis, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Simulation using MATLAB.
  • Faculty members are accomplished doctorates and postgraduates with diverse specializations. Faculty development programmes are conducted regularly to keep abreast with the technology. Interactions with Industry are done in the form of informal interactions and workshops. Students are encouraged to take up industry related projects in house.
  • Various events are conducted to make the students excel in extra and curricular activities. Many of our students have excelled in national and multinational companies. Also large number of students who opted for higher studies abroad has emerged out with flying colors.

    The Electronics and Communications Department strives to be recognized globally through quality education for well qualified engineers, who are innovative in research, ethically strong, entrepreneurial with good managerial skills and successful in advanced fields of their professional career.

  • To create, knowledgeable and skilled persons with strong fundamentals, through rigorous curriculum that develops the ability to solve problems individually and in teams.
  • To create professional leaders to society with research attitudes in the core areas of Electronics and Communications with collaborations to impact quality of academics, industry and social needs.
  • To develop innovative and simple instructional material to drive the concepts into the minds of students and infuse scientific temper in the students and guide them towards research in communication engineering
  • To create competent man power with deep awareness on ethics, skills and leadership qualities to our profession and society.
  • Programme Educational Objectives

    PEO 1 -Graduates will shoulder responsibilities in their chosen careers including supportive and leadership roles in multidisciplinary teams.

    PEO 2 - Graduates will effectively understand, use and develop modern data storage, interpretation, analytical and simulation technologies and other engineering concepts and tools in the field of electronics and communications.

    PEO 3 - Graduates will communicate effectively, recognize and incorporate societal needs and constraints in their professional endeavor, and practice their profession with high regard to legal and ethical responsibilities.

    PEO 4 -Graduates will be able to engage in life-long learning and be abreast with the changing technologies in their profession and to be leaders in the society.
